In The Beginning:
For more than a decade Eli Killen created various forms of media including music CDs, videos for musicians, live music shows, and instructional video projects that were and still are being sold around the world.
Rod Killen has a more traditional business background with experience in running healthcare facilities, general contracting, real estate development, a plaster supply company in Nevada and a placer gold mine in California.
The Growing Years:
In order to update his education and leverage his years of experience, Rod Killen completed an Advanced Certificate in Social Media through the University of San Francisco in the Spring of 2010. The basis of all social media marketing is branding and there is no better way to brand than using images. Eli Killen provides the imaging through his years of studio experience and specifically video experience. Because of their combination of marketing and video expertise, a local cable company hired the Killens in June 2010 to create 21 TV commercials. This created an opportunity to showcase BestInOregon.Com and part of the services provided. Since then BestInOregon.Com has gone on to develop high quality corporate video, training videos, video marketing discs, video business cards, and blu-ray quality video used for cinema advertising before a movie starts.
Where We're Going:
BestInOregon.com serves small to medium businesses through delivering a strategy of traditional marketing, video marketing and social media. When it's appropriate, we also incorporate print, TV and/or radio advertising. Killen. Rod's Bachelor's Degree is in English, he has a Masters in
Business (MBA) and an Advanced Certificate in Social Media. Before
BestInOregon.Com, Rod had a career as a health care developer with a
General Contractor's license in Oregon and Nevada. He also had a
nursing home administrator's license with several years experience
in geriatric care. Rod has a broad background of entrepreneurial
ventures and helping charitable efforts.

VIDEO & SOUND: Eli Killen is often found
behind a camera... a very nice camera. He likes to shoot in high
definition at 60 frames a second. This is far greater resolution
than provided on Standard Definition TV so he works with a media
team to bring the highest quality broadcast supported for each
channel. A specialty of Eli's is making a single video but having
two versions of the audio to accommodate the various channel
providers: One version in English and the other in Spanish. For live
events Eli can record the audio in surround sound. Whatever your
recording needs are, Eli can accommodate them.
